Dawn States is a disabled dance scholar, artist, and choreographer who specializes in integrated dance. She earned an MFA in Dance from Temple University and has trained with prominent integrated dance companies such as Full Radius Dance, Axis Dance, and Karen Peterson Dance. As both a dance artist and educator, Dawn is particularly passionate about exploring the intersection of dance and disability. She has created impactful works for various platforms, including the Fringe Festival, Axis Dance Choreo Lab, and Mark DeGarmo Dance. In her teaching roles, Dawn has led classes with the Temple Institute on Disabilities and has worked as an independent artist.
